Frequently Asked Questions – The Gathering Place

What is check-in and check-out time?
Check-in time is at 2 p.m. on the day of arrival. Check-out time is 2 p.m. on Sundays and 11 a.m. on weekdays. Upon request, some flexibility on the check-in and check-out times may be available.

Can I reserve The Gathering Place for something other than quilting or scrap booking?
YES! The Gathering Place was designed with you in mind and we are happy to accommodate other groups or events.

What do I need to bring?
1.Bring your craft supplies, clothes and toiletries.
2.You may want to bring paper products (plates, silverware, napkins).
3.We provide a fully equipped kitchen complete with cooking tools, dishes and utensils.
4.Coffee filters are provided, please bring your own coffee and other beverages of choice.

Do we have to share beds or are there bunk beds?
All beds are twin size single beds with accommodations for ten. There are no bunk beds. Mattresses are  comfortable with fresh linens and towels provided.

Is smoking permitted? How about pets?
For the comfort of all our guests, The Gathering Place is smoke-free and pet-free.

Is there enough parking?
We are located in the country and there is ample parking just outside the retreat.
